The Benefits of Holiday Eating

We’re back from a week of travel, rest and holiday celebration.  Needless to say, a week spent on a plane, in an airport, in a family’s house and out with friends does not bode well for eating healthy and sticking to your plans.  Throw in the “mandatory” holiday meal(s), and the foods included, and anyone is bound to see their progress towards their goals falter a bit.

    America, The Not-So-Beautiful

    What the hell happened to America as a society?  The more I look around, the more supersizing I see.  Do people even care anymore about their health or appearance?  It seems like 7 out of 10 people are overweight just by looking at them.  From a statistics standpoint, as measured by the standard set by the US Government, 34% of americans, 20 years and older are overweight.  Thats not my 70%, but its not great.
